Scope
This policy explains how the SkinMatchy website handles visitor data. The site currently has no accounts, payments, photo uploads or public comments. The main sources are email that you choose to send and necessary technical or analytics data generated while browsing.

Data that may be handled
Data you provide
If you email us, we receive the email address, display name, message, attachments and ordinary email technical information that you choose to provide. Without a reply address or enough context, we may not be able to handle the request.
Site and analytics data
Hosting and analytics services may process IP address, browser and device type, language, approximate region, referrer, time, pages viewed and cookie or client identifiers. Events may include search query length without the query text, selected content IDs in the checker, content-page views and outbound source clicks.
Why data is used
- Reply to general, correction and privacy requests.
- Deliver pages, maintain security and detect faults or abuse.
- Understand aggregate use of pages and tools so navigation and content can improve.
- Keep necessary records for follow-up and correction workflows.
Cookies and service providers
The production site uses Google Tag Manager to manage Google Analytics tags. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and process device, browsing and approximate-region data according to its configuration. You can block or delete cookies or use the Google Analytics opt-out tool.
SkinMatchy uses Cloudflare for delivery, security and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare may process network request data for delivery and abuse prevention; its Web Analytics product provides aggregate traffic statistics without cookies according to Cloudflare’s product description.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy documents. See the Google Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy. External source sites also receive ordinary network request data when you follow a link.
Access or correction requests
To ask whether we hold information supplied by email, or to request access or correction, email hello@skinmatchy.com. Include the approximate date and sending address. We may request reasonable information to avoid disclosing data to the wrong person.
Do not attach identity documents or other sensitive material to the first message. If verification is necessary, we will explain why and identify a suitable method first.

This page will be updated if the site adds accounts, forms, shopping, advertising or new analytics services. General privacy questions can be sent to hello@skinmatchy.com.
